Yesterday I installed the latest version of Volumio (2.4) on a RPi 3. If the RPi is connected to my network with a cable it works fine but when I try to access it via WiFi I cannot connect to it. I know it isn’t the RPi hardware at fault because I can connect to it via WiFi when I have Raspian installed. So there must be something wrong with the Volumio configuration.
Any ideas what the issue may be and how to correct it?

I’m also having this same issue.
v2.452 and rpi3
says it has the wireless address, but I can only ping/connect to the interface via wired lan.
I’ve already factory wiped and reflashed the sd card.

Have you had any luck in getting your WiFI working?
I haven’t and not having it working really makes Volumio unusable IMHO.
I finally got the WiFi working. Not sure how I did it though but this is what I did.
Created a new Volumio install on a 64 GB SD card and followed all the steps. At first it didn’t connect tot he WiFi but after about the third try it started working. A bit puzzling…

You need to check the channel of WiFi network. Rpi 3 can not connect to channel12 and 13 due to their bug. If you use 2.4GHz wifi then check your channel number at your router device and set it down to below channel 11.

That’s good to know but my channel is in the single digit range so that wasn’t the issue.
