I’m new to this, and at the moment just thinking out loud!
I have an old steamer (Cambridge audio np30) which is feeling old and tired, and id like to use something that more modern and user frendly.
Now, I am considering the volumio-primo, but I also have a fantastic Dac, and I’m wondering if I went down the DIY option could build something as good as the Primo without a DAC and save myself some money in the process.
I should say, I have built a few PCs in my time, but I know next to nothing about electronics, voltages/AC/DC etc… Im good at plugging things together and that’s about it!
Would love to hear some thoughts and ideas
