Waveshare 7.9inch DSI screen issue with volumio

Today i purchased a 7.9-inch waveshare HDMI screen with the intention of using it as a streamer for my raspberry pi4+iQ audio DAC+volumio setup. However, I am facing an issue as the screen touch is not responding properly, done the screen rotation tips as per the waveshare wiki…

Also is it necessary to provide separate power input for both the 7.9-inch HDMI screen with a resolution of 1280x400 and the Raspberry Pi4 when using them together on Volumio…???

a bit confusing, are you using a dsi or hdmi screen?

for HDMI All you have to do is place the text below in the config.txt, install the Touch Plugin and set the rotation (in my case) to 270 degrees.

hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=400 0 100 10 140 1280 10 20 20 2 0 0 0 60 0 43000000 3

If the touch is not correct, try the button on the back of the screen one by one until the touch is correct.

do not ad rotation settings as from waveshare wiki!
