Hello everyone,
I have bought a display but I can’t set it up.
Maybe someone can help me, I would be very grateful.

I am using a RaspberryPi 4 8GB
The display is connected with HDMI=0.
The display is a Waveshare 5.5’ 2k here the link
I used this setting for Waveshare Wiki.

The problem is that the screen has black bars on the sides.

I am grateful for any help!

please do not change the content of config.txt, as mentioned clearly at the beginning of the file

all custom settings must be included in userconfig.txt

I suggest you to flash again the image, starting from scratch

Thanks for the quick reply Darmur.

I have flashed the image again.
The settings are now in userconfig.txt.

The borders are still black, no change.

OK, I have found a solution. I don’t know if it’s right, but it works.

I add in: “/home/volumio/.config/openbox/autostart”
this: “DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate left”.

After the restart, the screen is rotated without black bars.
