I’m new to Volumio and trying out the premium version. I’ve come across an annoying issue. All my local data is ripped to NAS primarily in WAV. All the metadata is consistent and displays correctly when viewed through other apps such as JPLAY. I use Asset as a Media Server normally so I can drill down into my files and get all the different views I want.
During initial Volumio setup I added all the NAS shares to Volumio and also the Asset Media Server. Now when I navigate to track via the NAS category in Volumio and play a WAV fie it displays correctly.
When I navigate to exactly the same track via my Media Server within Volumio it displays what I assume is a Volumio generated db hash of the file or something? (see below)
FLAC files work as expected. I’ve searched and seen some comments about WAV tagging not being fully supported in Volumio but it is displaying correctly depending on how you navigate to the track. Any thoughts on how to fix this (without converting to FLAC) if at all possible?
