Volumio wont boot with RPi4 1gb

Managed to acquire a RPi4 1gb, installed Volumio 3 (the latest available).
Will not boot, screenshot below.

Flashed latest bootloader, different card, different versions, no avail?
Is the RPi4 1gb incompatible?

It’s trying to boot from USB?

Did you flash Volumio to a SD card with Rasberry Pi Imager and was the image check OK?

Yes used imager and verified OK

Maybe some silly questions, but just to get the picture. As this one is new and have joined Volumio for a reasonable time.

  • You unzipped the downloaded file
  • You flashed the file “Volumio-3.396-2022-12-04-pi.img” to the SD using Raspbery Pi Imager
  • The final check gave no errors
  • And you have removed any USB storage from the rPi before booting.

If all questions are yes, can you flash raspbian to the SD and try to boot that one. If that goes succesfull, type the following in the prompt and post the results:
cat /proc/device-tree/model

Yes to all the above.
I have been using Volumio in various incarnations, for well over a year without issue on other RPi variants.
This RPi4 1gb will boot Raspi OS, but not Volumio
Will reload and get back to you with the results of " `cat /proc/device-tree/model"

Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5

Downloaded a fresh iso of V 3.396, used Balena Etcher instead of RP imager, and it has booted to default page for setup.

Strange. But now working!
Thanks

Ok, weird. You’re the first that has issues with Raspberry Pi Imager. These kind of behaviors we have only seen with Balena.
At least your rpi is on rev1.5. (Volumio had to rebuild the kernel with the change from 1.4 to 1.5, hence my question)
So your good to go. Have fune.
