I thought this would be fixed in V3, but is still there – so here is a bug report.
I can’t be alone to have noticed it?
If you play 24/44.1, 24/48, 24/88.2 or 24/176.4 material from Qobuz via Volumio the Now playing screen in the UI will show the wrong sampling rate, but Volumio will still output the correct sampling rate that is provided by Qobuz.
For 24/44.1, 24/48 and 24/88.2 the UI will show it as 24/96 and for 24/176.4 it will show as 24/196.
16/44.1, 24/96 and 24/192 material is shown correct at the now playing screen in the Volumio UI.
I’ve verified it with checking in Qobuz own app what sample rate the song/album should have, and also verified the output via both my external dacs that both can display the sample rate.
Example is Cyndi Lauper’s album She’s so unusual – Qobuz says it is 24-bit 176,4 khz, but Volumio UI says it is 24 bit / 192 khz and both my Topping and Rega dacs shows it as 176.4 khz
