Volumio - Tidal and Bladelius ASK

I use the Volumio app with my Bladelius ASK - but I also have Tidal Connect via Airplay to the same unit.

When playing Tidal tracks with higher resolution than 16 bit 44 khz - the Volumio app displays 16 bit 44 khz. I can find the same track in my Tidal app, and play it - and the Tidal app displays the correct bitrate and sample freq.

But on the ASK - display it only states 16 bit 44 khz no matter what track with higher resolution I play.

Anyone know of this issue? Why doesn’t the Volumio app displays higher bitrates and sample frequency than 16 bit 44 khz…?

Try changing the Sound Quality setting for Tidal (Volumio Sources) to “High-Res”.
