Apologies if this is in the incorrect forum, or if this has been discussed before. I have searched and didn’t come up with suitable answers.
I currently have my Rivo connected via USB to my Gustard R26 DAC. Has anyone compared the USB connection to the AES/EBU connection? I have always wondered which would be better. Cables are pricey so I don’t want to invest in an AES/EBU cable just to test. Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks.
… tried both USB and AES/EBU (Rivo+) into my Denafrips DAC. USB was clearly better with this combination.

Your totally right ! USB is asynchronous so the DAC is master and the streamer slave in this config
