Well done you guys, Rivo seems to be praised as the best streamer of 2023 (and not only!) and do even better than the praised Eversolo from China! That’s a news!

I enjoyed so much this review and it reflects perfectly what we are trying to do at Volumio.

This is a very honest and superb review of the Rivo.
But funny that the above review say usb out for the better when i read the review alpha audio did they say aes but again is must up to the dac/ amp with dac where the money was put.
One thing i dont understand was Alpha audio comment on the spdif ist was on same level as primo v2. Some comments below that review they go with primare prisma np5 as better pure streamer if using spdif.
Aint it must part of good output up to the onboard player circuit than the minor noise every output have.
And aint spdif better covered from noise they usb?
it depends on the DAC itself.
some DACs perform better with S/PDIF, some others with AES/EBU, others with USB, others with I2S over HDMI
