Volumio Rivo annoying issue!

Have you already implemented the fix in the latest 3.887 update?
I have had no player interruption over the weekend, don’t know if it is because the ‘‘bug’’ is eliminated, or there is another ‘‘infestation’’ to expect.
Still, the player does not play after a shut down and next day power on from where it stopped - last track remembered, but cannot start playing from> has to be rolled back from> select source> select new album/ track> play. Rather inconvenient…
On the other hand, as I have been advised by e-mail (Marco, 20.12.2025), does deselecting ‘‘infinity Play’’, has anything to do with 3.887, or it is completely another issue?
I have not noticed any difference between on/off infinity Play function.

Thanks for the collaboration and patience
from what we see, there is a crash in MPD (which gets correctly restarted) after infinity queue is enabled.
This is a bug we have to investigate on our side and eventually fix it on our end.

As a remedy, can you please disable Infinity Play (from the queue page) and report back if the behaviour occurs again?

Version 3.887 contains a fix for an MPD issue (related to native Qobuz and Tidal playback). One of the root causes was “infinity playback” with large libraries, you should be able to enable it without problems in the new update.

the fix seems to work!
Have had no issues since 3.887 update.

How do you update to 3.887 ? I’m currently 3.886 and when I hit check for updates on the app there are none available.
