Volumio on Pi3 with AlloBoss DAC visibe on Roon but cannot enable it

Hi,

I’ve recently started tinkering with Volumio, did set-it up, succeeded to add a network share etc etc.
It works well for plying through Volumio controller, also visible as a player on my LMS (i installed the squeezlite plugin).

However for roon, i installed the plugin (roon bridge), set the device as :

  • i2s (toggled on and toggled off)
  • Dac : Allo Boss
  • Volume Options : (none and Hardware)

The device shows-up on the list of roon endpoints (pic below) as Linux ALSA, along with HDMI and Headphones, but i cannot enable it.

is there anything im doing wrong ?

It’s not about getting attention, but this is a specific problem related to Roon. Majority of Volumio users don’t have much interest for Roon, Those few left should also have expierence with the Allo Boss, which makes the amount of people that can help even less.
