Volumio can't find all my music files in search

I use a Windows shared folder as source. Volumio can’t find all the albums or artists. Folder is updated and rescanned many times. Same folder is shared with Serviio media server and all albums are visible in BubbleUPnP app, but not in Volumio app or in volumio.local

Edit, if I scoll from music library, I can find the albums, but not from search option.

I have found, that search does not show all tracks, if the “Album Artist” field in the tags is left blank.

I used MP3Tag to copy “artist” to “album artist” and it essentially fixed the search. The VA albums are technically incorrect but hey ho cant have it all :slight_smile:

I have had the same problem.
File and folder names may be OK, but check them anyway (characters, length).
Then check for corrupted audio files,
either with Foobar component :slight_smile: foobar2000: Components Repository - File Integrity Verifier
(“verify integrity”)
or any software able to do that.

Before discarding these files, keep the list somewhere…to re-download (or rip again) them …if you really need them :wink:
