Volumio as UPNP control point

I think the Volumio is a very powerful and compelling product with a distinctive UI way above the standard of the other embedded UIs we can find in Hifi streamers.

Currently, there is a huge market opportunity: there is no decent and user-friendly Upnp control point for Android and iOS/macOS.
People like me, who has a streamer with an unusable UI, need to leverage BubbleUpnp or HifiCast for streaming music, applications that have an average UI compared to Volumio.
Or, of course, pay an enormous monthly fee for Roon.

Using Volumio as a UPNP control point, installed on a low-price Raspberry (as an alternative to a Roon Nucleus), solving the UPNP server complexities would be a perfect dream.

I agree, Volumio really stands out compared to most embedded UIs on hi-fi streamers. The interface feels polished and actually pleasant to use, which is rare in this space. There’s clearly a gap in the market for a solid, user-friendly UPnP control point across Android, iOS, and macOS. A lot of people are stuck relying on apps like BubbleUPnP or HiFiCast, which work but don’t come close in terms of usability, or else paying a hefty subscription for Roon. Using Volumio as a dedicated UPnP control point on a low-cost Raspberry Pi, almost https://betblast-casinos.uk/ like a lightweight alternative to a Roon Nucleus, would honestly be an ideal solution if the server side complexities could be smoothed out.

I think I have seen a UPNP plugin? Have you looked at plugin store?
