Volumio and Album Art

Hi

I’m new to Volumio and I’m amazed at how good it is. Really well thought-out and easy to use. I’m running on a Raspberry Pi 3.

I have a small issue and would like to know how Volumio deals with album art.

A small number of my albums are multi-disk and are stored as a folder for the ‘Collection’ with sub-folders for each of the disks. Cover.jpg files are stored alongside the tracks within the individual disk sub-folders. When browsing my music, these folders will not show album art but instead only a generic folder icon. Album art can be seen inside this folder against each of the sub-folders. It would be nice to see the cover displayed at the ‘top’ level. I have tried putting cover.jpg inside the ‘top’ folder but that does not work.

Is there a way to do this?

Try changing the name from cover.jpg to folder.jpg. Also try turning web art on in the options.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately that did not do the trick. I think I’ll just ‘flatten’ the folder structure.
