Volumio - allo digione spdif - very faint sound through DAC

I am hearing very faint audio come through my RCA w/ allo digione hat.
curious if there might be any settings to adjust.

  • dmesg does not show any errors related to digione board
  • RCA from CD player to DAC works fine
  • swapping RCA cable doesnt resolve
  • BNC connector doesn’t resolve

Hi
I am running a Digione on top of a Rasp Pi 3b. Output is via BNC. Output goes to a Denon AVR (previously into a Schiit Modi+) Sounds superb.
