The 3.661 to 3.669 OTA will not work and is not meant to work - different release trees. There is no merit in troubleshooting this part.

Hey Robert,

I have few areas of a “special interest”:

  • Screen wakeup from sleep mode (HDMI, LVDS, DSI, TBFT, SPI)
  • OTA upgrade from 3.671 to 3.674 on all bootable storage types
  • Firmware upgrade from 3.671 to 3.674 via USB (this requires preparations outside of standard releases - let’s park it for now)
  • Factory reset via USB
  • Factory reset via UI browser
  • Factory reset via touchscreen

Devices:

  • SBC (Asus, Raspberry Pi)
  • x86

Branding:

  • Consistent plymouth theme behaviour

The general consensus amongst the developers is to bring a bug-free release end of May.

I have this feature (and few other exciting ones) on the roadmap.

Right now we have feature freeze as we are working on… nah - not going to reveal it yet.

Nevertheless: the startup configuration assistant jumps back to step 1 after you login to Tidal at step 5.

Well,
I think that it is one of the most wanted features for almost all volumio users would be the ability to do eeprom update within volumio system/core. Just for everybody to make it easy to do an upgrade…

Playback over HDMI has (still) a big problem. I reported this a few times during the last 2 or 3 beta phases.

All wav, DSD formats above as well as flac 96kHz and flac 192kHz are cutted in sound splinters in the first 10 seconds of the track. Sometimes the volumio internal player is restarted.
