Volumio 3.807 and Chord Mojo 2

Volumio 3.807 doesn’t seem to recognize the Chord Mojo 2 as a USB DAC connected to a Raspberry Pi 4. I wasn’t able to find a solution after searching previous posts, and I would appreciate any advice on getting this DAC to work. Thanks!

please provide a system log, so we can check if the USB device is recognized by the RPI at all.

Thanks,

I submitted the entire log - a truncated version appears below.

the RPi does not recognize the USB device at all

this is a HW-related problem and not a SW-related one. The Chord Mojo 2 does not have an external PSU input, it could be that the RPi cannot deliver the required power to the device.

please try to connect it to another port, please try with another high-quality cable and eventually please try with a powered USB HUB in between

Thanks - I should have thought of that! I’ll try again with a connected power supply.

All good - the Mojo 2 needs to be connected to a 5v power supply to be recognized by Volumio on the RPi 4. Thank you.
