I translated it, as routers can be very annoying. linksys as an option for caching streaming things, which actually breaks streaming, when turned on. So as it might be interested to more people I translated it.

What logic is being used with infinity playback.
I started with a list of pop and rock music. On the first retrieval it included a Dutch artist in local language. Now on every new refresh it only get’s Dutch tracks.
Does infinity consider the starting track on refilling the queue, or the current played track when a new call for tracks comes?

The Supersearch isn’t working, not sure if i’m missing anything? The thing just spins out.
Does the player have to be in test mode or require a plugin? I’ve clear site data for volumio. Keen to test this and the ‘playing away from home’ today.

No, doesn’t require test mode or a plugin. Maybe your account is not fully processed in the system, so it may just start working in a few hours.

we noticed that some plugins (like youtube, soundcloud and others) seem to break Supersearch and infinity playback.
I recommend to disable them and retry.
PS: We are about to release a new release in about 10 days which fixes that, disabling supersearch on non-compliant plugins and allowing you to select which plugins are included in supersearch and infinity.
Infinity matches the last track on the queue, so if your last track is a dutch artist, it gets similar tracks to it.

Hi guys, I got version 3.545.
I don’t currently have Tidal so just testing with my own library (have plenty of tracks 18,000 or something).
The only plugin besides touch and now playing i have loaded is YouTube Cast Reciever. I’ve just disabled so will reboot and test (Edit no difference).

Ok, I only using beta because that YouTube cast receiver doesn’t work otherwise.
A system reset maintained the same version. Just doing a brand new flash of the SD. PITA taking the back off the official touchscreen.
Edit: working now ;). Supersearch isn’t showing as many results as the normal search, bit odd.
Will give it a bit longer - library appears to all be there but in reality may still be syncing(?)
‘Play here’ seems to work with phone on 4g so will listen at work and test it out :P.

Any kind of network or router tricks for the supersearch and listening away from home to work better? Not sure if my router level ad blocker or Skynet (firewall) affects it but very slow to respond and doesn’t show the results you’d expect or none.
Massive delay when using with myvolumio.org but guess it’s to be expected. It’s still great you can access play albums as long as you just leave an album on and do t touch it. A temporary download to play offline probably be better before leaving the house. I think I’m doing it right hitting ‘play here’, and changed the device to headphones not the DAC before that.
I don’t currently have streaming, but can the Ai stuff mix your own collection and tidal etc?

This mainly depends on your connection speed (specifically upload speed) and your location.
Yes, the AI DJ and Supersearch mix your content of files and streaming. And actually, at least one streaming service is recommended for optimal results (they have millions of songs to pick from, compared to some thousands in your library).
