Unfortunately, my results with super search has not been as promising. I have had zero results to offering a completely different genre of music, such as post rock and country. Red Hot Chilli Peppers was also thrown in there on one set of search results. My search terms included minimal techno, melodic techno and progressive house etc, therefore the results were completely irrelevant . Same sort of results also occurred when I searched for minimal techno artists.
The related album feature is also way off. Again, these are techno albums in my library and Iām told related albums are rock or post rock albums by artists Iād never heard of.
I also do have some issues after the update to V3.512:
Similar as SimonE I get a few results displayed when I tried the Super Search, but then they disappear and āNo itemsā is displayed instead. But worst of all once I use Super Search I can not play music anymore at all
As plugin I have Radio Paradise, YouTube2, Youtube Cast Receiver, Backup & Restore Data and System Information installed. So I deactivated all and rebooted, but in difference to SimonE for me itās still the same, means once I used the Super Search it fails start playing . But I need to add, that this is only for 4-5 minutes. But however, itās reproducible, once I carry out a Super Search it finds a few entries, displays them for 2-3 seconds and then toggles to āNo itemsā (or it shows āNo itemsā instantly). And then also playing fails for a couple of minutes (and the same itās if I like to stop playing).
Therefore Iām wondering why the topic is classified here as beeing solved (?).
Apart from this and concerning the Related Artists feature I have to say that at first it didnāt worked properly. Means I got some related artists displayed, but when I clicked on one of them I got the message that they are not within my library, which in fact they are. After a while it worked, so I guess thereās something ongoing in the background which simply takes a while (?).
In general I think the Related Artist feature is great, but I do not understand why Related Artists are not displayed in the screen for the current stream. To get informed about related artists is something I would like to have in the playing now screen.
Even that should be optional. For me (and probably most) it is enough to use the existing expanded menu and then go to either artist or album info where the related info is available.
Thanks guys for all your feedbacks! We are really happy youāre enjoying this new features so much. Thatās really our biggest reward to hear youāre spending great time with what we did!
And, for those of you which are having issues, donāt worry, we are on them to get them sorted!
@Axel to identify your issue, please provide the logs after the issue occurs and paste the log link here:
Agree, or for me Tidal and my own collection (most would be on streaming but Iāve got them anyway and enjoy filtering that way when I get sick of streaming).
Iāve disabled soundcloud as there are too many results. Likewise, youtube music youtube2 plugins (but keep them for when the other one isnāt working).
Iāll probably test premium with a new account, so can you access your own collection from phone app whilst out and about (similar to Roon Arc)?
PS> looks like Tidal Connect isnāt working (and Checking for updates hangs)
I followed the instructions
I can browse and play the music as normal
Same fault with Supersearch though ⦠no items
Jazz from the 1980ās
Grunge for the 90s
then I entered āamerican folkā in the super search (thereās an album āAmerican Folkā on the usb drive)
result was āNo itemsā
and I couldnāt pause the current stream, respectively it took about 2 minutes before it stopped
I thinkt itās 2 things:
One is why the search fails, the other why the player does not respond. The latter may just be an overload of the system, i.e. nothing bad in principle, but if so, the code is simply too complex for the usersā target systems.

@Axel from your logs I see that the Youtube plugin is not handling searches properly.
I reccomend to:
Disable all the plugins
Reboot
Retry
Let me know
PS: Supersearch works differently than normal search, if you search for american folk, it will provide you with a list of tracks matching your query, it will not look at exact matches from your library.
