volumio 2.348 won't boot on Rpi 3 B 1.2

Hi,

I accidentally found this project and am very excited - this is exactly what I was looking for :slight_smile:
However, I’m experiencing some challenges getting it to work.
I’ve followed the instructions and flashed Volumio 2.348 on a San Disk ultra 16GB microSD using the latest Win32DiskImager running on my Windows 10 64 bit, latest version as well.
The process ended successfully, and I can see in windows DiskManagement that several partitions have been created.
I tried booting it on 2 different Raspberry Pi 3, Model B, version 1.2.
Both devices won’t boot, I can see that the network lights (Link / Act) won’t even light up and my network switch doesn’t show the link as well.
I’ve tried re-flashing the card, using different power supplies for the Rpi, different network cables etc to no avail.
Any help will be highly appreciated, I really want to make this work!

Hi Ami, firstly see that the checksum of your download is correct, then secondly try a second sd card.

I’m embarrassed…
Since the zip decompression, and the image burn succeeded with no errors, it didn’t even occur to me to suspect the download…
Thanks for pointing out the obvious, I needed it apparently, even after many years in IT :slight_smile:
