Apologies if this has been asked before - I have trawled the forum, but haven’t found any info.
Is it possible to install Volumio to a USB flash drive (maybe retaining boot partition on SD card)? 
USB install seems to be faster and more responsive, with other applications I have tried.

I guess there is no reason why it should not be compatible with, but better ask BEFORE …

talks about a difference of format (ext3 … ?)
