Topping D70 Pro Octo is missing on this list.
Does anyone know whether it is supported?

I assume that no special drivers are required and that the D70 Pro Octo is supported generically, but this is just my assumption.

And while Iā€™m at it, does anyone know if the D70 Pro Octo is audibly different from Alloā€™s Piano 2.1 (with Kali)? In this of course I am assuming that the rest of the chain is not a limitation.

This list was supposed to be dedicated to reporting supported DACā€™s.

Anyhow, linux does not cater for supplier-specific drivers, the generic linux ā€œsnd-usb-audioā€ driver offers support for all recognized usb DACā€™s, provided suppliers have had necessary device specific requirements (quirks) implemented in the usb audio ā€œquirksā€ tables. Some donā€™t care about linux, some quirks Volumio can help with.

Volumio offers some flexibility in case of DSD native capabilities. In some cases, depending on the hw platform (RPi, x86, volumio-own and some dedicated unsupported) specific quirks can be added.
