Topping D70 Pro Octo is missing on this list.
Does anyone know whether it is supported?
I assume that no special drivers are required and that the D70 Pro Octo is supported generically, but this is just my assumption.
And while Iām at it, does anyone know if the D70 Pro Octo is audibly different from Alloās Piano 2.1 (with Kali)? In this of course I am assuming that the rest of the chain is not a limitation.
This list was supposed to be dedicated to reporting supported DACās.
Anyhow, linux does not cater for supplier-specific drivers, the generic linux āsnd-usb-audioā driver offers support for all recognized usb DACās, provided suppliers have had necessary device specific requirements (quirks) implemented in the usb audio āquirksā tables. Some donāt care about linux, some quirks Volumio can help with.
Volumio offers some flexibility in case of DSD native capabilities. In some cases, depending on the hw platform (RPi, x86, volumio-own and some dedicated unsupported) specific quirks can be added.
