in the version 3.569 there is a new kernel, for supporting RPi5

in this new kernel the mixer name for the onboard Analog output has a different name.

Please enter playback options, select again the onboard analog output, save and reboot.
This should fix your problem and volume control should work again

Problem stays the same reselected “Headphones” saved and rebooted.
I have don a new install on 1 with the software 3.569 and it works directly.

What else could i do ? Reinstalling all of them and all the settings is a lot of work

Do what Dario suggested but select HDMI, save, then select Audio Jack and Save

Thanks Volumio and Dario, that did the trick it now works. I had to completely reboot the device.
I had 2 devices that had a touch display connected, so i wasn’t able to switch to HDMI so I had to set it to I2S and select a random device, then save then reboot then back to headphone then save and reboot.
