Thanks for the great product- my volunio setup works well and I use it to use one channel as audio source for an intercom system.
As I the intercom system can only use mono, but two different channels I’m asking if its possible to use the second Volumio output and connect it two the second input to the intercom system but with another stream.
I would like to have on left and right channel of the hifiberry dac (with a PI) two different streams controlled by the Volumio gui.
Does anyone think about such a solution - how can this be configured? How this possible?
So in short:
You have audio circuit with 2 separate mono rails.
Can’t you just connect the left output to rail one and the right output to rail two from the HifiBerry DAC?
Yes, this will work, the intercom system has the option to distribute two audio channels.
This channels inputs can be connected to the hifiberry left and right channel. That’s fine.
But if it start a stream, both channels will have the same musics, as left and right mino channel from the stereo music.
My wish, to distribute two different Audio streams and send one to the left channel and the other to the right channel, so that on the intercom system, two different audios are available.
I can user another Volumio setup but i hoped to get it solved with one.
