One thing that I’ve noticed now that I’m using MyVolumio a lot, when starting to play, the time counter increments while (I’m assuming) the data is buffering before play. This means that the time counter is 4-5 seconds ahead of when a track actually starts to play. Skipping a track in the current playlist has the previous track play for 4-5 seconds before the switch to the next track while the counter switches immediately. This isn’t a huge deal obviously but, programmatically is it possible to start the track time counter once the buffering is complete so the timer is more accurate? This is streaming local files, not any of the streaming services.
Anyone else experience this?
