Touchscreen plugin failed at chromium with old hdmi monitor

Hi Folks.
I dug out an old HDMI display with hopes of getting peppymeter running on it. I connected it to the HDMI port and than tried to run the touchscreen plugin. Didn’t work and it seems to be some error with chromium.
Maybe what I’m trying is not possible, but it would be great to recycle this old Dell hdmi monitor. txs
