Tidal connect - stuttering tracks

Tidal Connect on Google Pixel 6a to Volumio Rivo+ via I2S or USB to Denafrips Pontus 15th
After 10 to twenty seconds some tracks start stuttering. This is consistently track related. It only happens to some tracks and always they are 16bit 44.1Khz (cd) tracks, The stuttering does not happen when playing the same track on my phone or via the Volumio app. I have made a playlist of tracks this is happening with: TIDAL - High Fidelity Music Streaming I tried disabling oversampling in the Rivo+. No difference. os or nos on the Denafrips, also no difference. This didn’t happen with my old DAC (Aune X8 XVIIIth).

Hi, the same on Volumio Primo V2 after new update. Sounds weird, made a reset but it didnt help. (in my case Ares 12th connected by USB or Coax), on coax seems even worse. Phone is Galaxy S21se with Tidal.

It seems new version has a problem (at least) with Denafrips.

Can you please try to disable multiroom from SOURCES MENU?
Reboot the unit and retry

Seems ok, I will reset Primo, cofigure and check again, but stuttering after disabling multiroom is gone. BTW - where can I find some advise which services should be disabled. I used to disable all unnecessary but seems that for example disabling UPNP even without using it has some effect on SQ…

Disabling multiroom did nothing for me

i don‘t know why - but i am not affected - it‘s simply working for me

Not entirely true. It no longer stutters playing in Volumio directly, but Tidal Connect still stutters.

In my case stuttering was only with Tidal connect, disabling multiroom was a solution for Tidal connect. Did you restart Rivo? Maybe try factory reset from menu and set it again - its simple and fast procedure.

After the last update, the volumio primo v2, which is a month old, stutters on some songs via tidal connect. Tidal works fine directly on the volumio, connect to the primo and then via usb to the Gustard x26III, stutters when played on a windows pc or tablet.
Via the analog outputs on the volumio, stutters, via coax, stutters.
directly from the application the sound is ok

We’re working to fix it
Meantime try by disabling Multiroom feature from SOURCES MENU

Thanks for the patience!

Before reporting and reporting the problem, all suggestions were tried, a factory reset was made, the multi-room option was turned off, and it was tried over a wifi network via an ethernet cable.
All devices were reset, nothing helped, and the sound is still choppy.
