First off, lett me thank the Volumio team for thei’r great work.
It has been a while, several year’s in fact since i last tried volumio.
And what an amount of progress there has been! 
Short intro:
Life happens, many expensive hobbies, and i wanted to tinker with audio again.
This project is based on the following. Nothing that has not been done before.
Raspberry pi 5/8gb
Iancanada transportpi digi3
Iancanada linearpi pro 5se
Audiophonics toroidal 2x6v
Ldovr tps7a4700
Wavesdhare 8.8" lcd touch-a
Hifi2000 GX388 chassis
This week i started upp my old class ab integrated, still sounded great and lovely.
However, session ended with static passtrough and the need for a new sett of transistors 
Took this as a sign to try something new, did some research, got notius off the amount of
information out there and just went and picked upp something smal.
Chinese was not realy much of a thing when i last bough equipment, but aparently they are now
solid in some areas 
Well why not, picked upp an smsl p400 and d400 pro and
think they sound perfectly fine to be fair.
This also descided some of the design choices for the streamer as you might notice.
Wile waiting for well most of the items in the list above i still need music!
So this is the current situation 
And this is the point of this build, nothing but a pi and a screen, this is what you need.
Whatever shows upp next at my door will change things, but it is all within the scope of the design files.
AND will be expandable to a sertain degre.
It works, but that is quite frankly amazing, and would not have been even half possible
without the great work of many a plugin maker and the volumio team.

Today i got the faceplate in the mail.
Sadly i did not account for the anodizing when modeling. But being an old mechanic has its perks 
Doubt the screen will need any other fasteners to stay put lets just end with that.
However i was alitle puzzled by the fact this came first, being ordered last and all.
Uppon further checking seems i had not ran the order with audiophonics to the end* end🤦♂️
But i just cannot wait for another shipment, thought why not use this to some proper diy.
I already had the side pieces modeled upp in cad so tossing them at the printer would be just a game of waiting realy.
Still the issue of the short pfc so i will have to make
“In the meenwile” adjustments while i wait for those.

Bom change:
3d printed case. Mostly
8 cut down titanium screws from the leftover scrap in the garage.
1 old momentary push button salvaged from a bt speaker.
Revision changes.
Yes that slot under the pi looks wierd.
BUT! i found an old samsung t5 ssds in the midst om my “junk”
And having a sort of old style cartridge system just fancied something in me.
Also changed arround the power situation, after all i realised that feeding linear to a cpu will be mostly worthles.
This leaves room for a smaler suuply for the audio path later on if i even descide i want to.
Side pannels turned out greater than i thought, printed in asa-cf so heat should be noe problem.
Also built on the meassurements from the hifi2000 galaxy so mix\mashups could be possible later
Lcd did not situate as far back as designed for due to mentioned issues. I think its ok, back will be filled inn with rtv to hide the crack. Color match not even close, id have to look into that.
Also dissregard the dusty hd990 
And the dusty bench 
Think i need to dustoff and vacuum…
