Hi guys, could use some help…
I have a raspberry with PIFI DAC + 2.0 and I have a 1.9 oled that works perfectly model:
0.96 pollici OLED SSD1306 bianco/blu/giallo 128X64 IIC I2C modulo Display seriale 12864 scheda schermo LCD per Arduino|display module|oled module128x64 oled - AliExpress 5.0&scm-url=1007.13339.291025.0&pvid=da7789f6-1b41 -4e35-b7ee-3cf7a8a3fb5d&_t=gps-id%3ApcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller%2Cscm-url%3A1007.13339.291025.0%2Cpvid%3Ada7789f6-1b41-4e35-b7ee-3cf7a8a3fb5d%2Ctpp_buckets% 3A668%232846%238111%231996&pdp_npi=3%40dis%21EUR %211.65%211.53%21%21%21%21%21%40211b5e2416846206734308772e872c%2112000025686777041%21rec%21IT%21725564962&gatewayAdapt=glo2ita
and everything works great, since this display is small
I wanted to replace it with this:
Modulo Display LCD OLED da 2.4 "2.42 pollici 128x64 SSD1309 12864 interfaccia seriale IIC I2C a 4 Pin per Arduino UNO R3 C51| | - AliExpress 44b2-8b7e-d63aa0d9eebd-15&pdp_npi=3 %40dis%21EUR%2113.25%2110.73%21%21%21%21%21%40214527c616846206622901113d0723%2112000032330939225%21sea%21IT%21725564962&curPageLogUid=1Mf 4OVHlTLSp
the model I have is 4 pin, I connected it but it doesn’t turn on, the connection diagram is:
I respected the connection types on both displays, but the small one works, it’s the 2.4 one, no, I need some help.
I installed the native mpd_oled plugin from volumio , with the small display it works (the one from 2.4 doesn’t work)
i also completely uninstalled native mpd_oled this is installed:
# Install instructions for Volumio 3
These instructions are for installing mpd_oled with a binary package on
Volumio 3.
The binary package should be the best option for most people, but if you
would like to build and install the current mpd_oled repository code then see
[Install instructions for Volumio 3 using source](install_volumio3_source.md).
## Base system
[Volumio](https://volumio.org/) should be installed. Ensure a command line
prompt is available for entering the commands below (e.g.
[use SSH](https://volumio.github.io/docs/User_Manual/SSH.html).)
## System settings
Configure your system to enable I2C or SPI, depending on how your OLED
is connected.
This file has been truncated. show original
but it still won’t turn on or display anything…
I post the photos in ssh
There are 2 diodes on the board. D1 and D2. They need to be closed.
meanwhile thank you very much…
you are great…
the display is on it works, but the display refresh is very slow when I snap between one song and another the display is still the song does not change in real time also the non-spectrum bars do not move
This is not a display problem. This is a plugin problem and I do not know the correct answer. Try to chat in the plugin topic.
https://community.volumio.com/t/plugin-mpd-oled-installation-configuration-plugin/44823
I installed the plugin manually. Its settings are not in the list of plugins. Try to run the configuration via ssh:
sudo mpd_oled_service_edit -o 6 -a 3c -b 16 -g 1 -f 40
could you write me the procedure for manual installation…
sudo mpd_oled_service_edit -o 6 -a 3c -b 16 -g 1 -f 40
the command is gone and the display works but still does not update the refresh remains the same
and as if it freezes

Loopback,1
i started the command from ssh
sudo mpd_oled_service_edit -o 6 -a 3c -b 16 -g 1 -f 40 -c alsa,plughw:Loopback,1
after i put it back
sudo mpd_oled_service_edit -o 6 -a 3c -b 16 -g 1 -f 40
everything works…!!!
