The android app is appalling

Ive been putting up with this slow, sloppy, unresponsive app for ages. But just updated the to latest firmware update and now its even worse:

-The volume control doesn’t exist anymore, no matter what setting I change to use MPD or software controls it will not work. Even when I can find the slider it makes no difference at all, its set permanently at 100%. My amp has to be turned down to a 8:00 position or its too loud.

-Huge delays when playing or changing tracks in my Tidal playlist, it will also seemingly add tracks to the current playlist.

Absolutely hopeless.
Thinking of selling it and going back to local FLAC files using MediaMonkey.

Difficult to give advice without any details. Please say what you’re running Volumio on, which version of Volumio and which version of the Android app. Logs may also help.

Do you have the same issues using Volumio via a browser?

I use the Android app and it’s fast and reliable. Also with Tidal.

Browser is fine, but its not connected to the Rivo.
I’ll post logs and confirm Vs if I can - thanks for the reply
