Teac ud301x gives stability problems

Sorry, true. But you get these devices from 2nd hand resellers who usally sell them in batches when they are returned from lease contracts.
Batch does not mean you buy them all, just one of them
I find them on ebay, or on a swiss auction platform ricardo.ch (a sort of local ebay) or what they have in Holland: marktplaats.nl
I tried to set up a Volumio thing here this year, buying batches and selling them pre-configured on a nearly cost-basis as a service for forum members. Worked well, but in the end too much time involved for shipping them … Lucrative if you wanted to earn a little on the side, but you would have to up the price a little.

Marco was faster and we’re going off-topic I suppose

your correct. we’re indeed drifting off topic.

Maybe I fixed I did a power cycle. Both devices disconnected from power, for at least 10 min. Looks it is working now. Fingers crossed.
Hmm I did set software mixer to non and problem back again.

ah, seen that before.
Instead of doing a power cycle, just boot, get the error, then unplug and replug usb cable, followed by a log.
Will look tomorrow.

here the log file hope you can find the problem:

http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/OyRQdeE.html

unpluging the usb and plug it again, works better then powercycle

Teac stops playing and unplug usb maybe this log is clearer for the problem:

IMHO your TEAC goes into sleep mode, and disables USB.

Check if there is a way to disable such behaviour

I turned off sleepmode. But Teac is still not responing.

Looks or my Teac USB conncetion does not work anymore

Once you disabled it. Turn off and on the TEAC, Turn on Volumio, select USB Audio output and try.

Let us know

does not work at all now. Does not recognize Teac device. Got error says connect other output device.

Can you send logs and screenshots?

no error yet.

I am creating log report but that is not working.

Maybe I have to flash Sdcard again?

I am going to flash the rpi3b again. I do not what is wrong now. I got an new log from latest problems:

http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/Qg5OAN0.html

Please explain in detail how the issue occurs now.

Are you just using Spotify? Can you try with some other service?

I was playing local library albums. Iam reinstalling the system at the moment.

I try to play music. First local library(nas) then with Tidal. System does not play anything. But the Teac is connected. No errors this time. I am out of ideas.

My FiiO k5pro works normally and Edifier S3000 pro also so think the problem is with the Teac Dac (out of order, again?)

You could try a other cable…or a other port. But that should be the standard checks.
Sometimes it helps.

checked it again does not work. Changed other kabel, maybe it is working, had to shutdown system two times.

what does this means? part of live log: kernel reports TIME_ERROR: 0x41: Clock Unsynchronized
