Stream box s2 ultra and replay gain

Hello everybody,

ive been using this little box for the last few months and so far im loving it…except one thing: replaygain.

Ive read in this forum that there is a way (editing few lines of code) to make standard volumio to read and use the replaygain tag embedded in my files so i was wondering if the same thing could be also done for the volumio version in my stream box s2 ultra and if yes, how to do it (or if exists any other way to do it)

With a bit of luck you get an answer within 3 years. Still waiting for mine…

Lol yep thats why i decided to ask here…i had read that they r not that quick to reply to this kind of questions.

Its a shame tho coz that little box works wonder in my setup

Their analog gear and support is great. However they stepped into the digital domain and forgot that it needed to be supported.
Have a Pro-ject prebox S2 Digital, which fails to play MQA and has a burned in display as you can’t turn it off. After 3 years still zero support, no answers, no solutions.
This was my first and last Pro-ject device.
