Strange issue with Mixer Type

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: 2.861
Hardware: RPI 3
DAC: HiFiBerry Amp2

I am very new to Volumio and just got my system in its “final” state yesterday. When initially setting up Volumio, I set the Mixer Type to “software” just to get it working with the volume control. Now when I try to change the Mixer Type to hardware, it makes all of my albums disappear. Or more correctly, the albums are still listed, but all of them have no songs.

When I change the Mixer Type back to software, everything comes back as it was.

I cannot imagine what one has to do with the other, but any ideas?

It seems a problem configuring the HW mixer prevent mpd to start and the you can’t play music. I don’t know your Dac, but you can give a try with Volumio beta buster.
