stops playing, maybe when large # files in queue

To reproduce:

  1. Browse > Music Library > browse to suitable directory > Add To Queue or Clear And Play
  2. in my case 650 or so MP3s added to the queue, I have Random selected but don’t think it matters
  3. generally 10 or so tracks will play file but then the queues stops and I have to then manually tap the Play button to keep Volumio playing again. it will continue for another 1…10 tracks but inevitably stops again at some apparently random point.
  4. sometimes when I’ve had to tap Play again the track/album displayed as “playing” isn’t the actual track, and the time remaining stops even though a track really is playing. Switching between PLAYBACK and QUEUE tabs doesn’t help.
  5. sometimes the track/album displayed as “playing” is the next track instead of the current track

Works fine for an album worth of files. Haven’t experimented with an intermediate # files, say 20…50.

RPi 3B. Latest Volumio. MP3 files on USB stick. I have Python code that reads the current Volumio state every 5s for display but can’t think of anything unusual or customized in my setup.
