Stop/start playing delay of 16 minutes(!)

Hi,

My hardware is: Volumio Primo HiFi Edition streamer. An Inseego FX2000 Wifi router.
VolumioOS version is 3.912
Volumio App version is 5.260413.0

I have a terrible problem: When I stop playing a stream, using either the stop button in the web interface or in the app and then hit the start button to resume playing, nothing happens - it does not start playing. But after a delay of 16 minutes, it all of a sudden resumes playing. Sometimes I have a respite of 5 minutes after I have stopped playing, within which I can resume playing immediately. After these 5 minutes the delay of 16 minutes is activated. Sometimes I don’t have these 5 minutes and the delay of 16 minutes is activated at once. I have tried the following: 1) Reset the device to factory defaults and run the configuration menu again. 2) Connected the stream via cable to the wifi router. It makes no diference. I actually own two Volumio HiFi Edition streamers and the problem is the same with both of them.

This is a really terrible problem which makes the device a lot less useful. I hope for your help!

Please raise a support ticket with Volumio.

The community can’t support Volumio hardware as we have no access to their knowledge base.

Hi Wheaten,

I have done so. But is it against the forum rules to ask questions related to the Primo? I see several questions, including a previous one of my own. There is also a Primo tag, which makes no sense if one is not allowed to ask questions related to the Primo. The benefit of raising the issue here, could be that someone else might have had the same issue and could offer a solution.

Absolutely not.
If community members can help, all okay with me.
Still the correct path is premium support from Volumio.
