Since 2 hours i am not able to have Spotify working.
I can’t connect the spotify it wont accept username or password.
Is it a problem of Spotify ?

yeah it’s with the Volumio servers
Where have you seen Spotify uses Volumio servers? 
As far as I know everything runs through Volumio servers, Qobuz, Tidal, … So I expect Spotify will do to. If not why is Spotify as integration/plugin in Volumio falling and not with other applications/integrations?

Already did that, still unable to login.
As stated with another platform, using the the same source for a plugin it works, that’s why i think/thought its related to Volumio (servers?)
Already done and also uninstall plugin, restart Volumio, install plugin … connection failed. Restart volumio. connection failed etc…

Same problem here. Restart or switching plugins on/off do not fix the issue. Could it perhaps be a change in the Spotify api that Volumio uses to communicate with the service?

My guess.
Either Spotify is having a big problem…
Or Spotify stop client using the old API used in spop used in the plugin…
I can’t test now. If first hypothesis, everything should be ok soon …
But in the second case…
site 104.199.65.124 is still alive but errors out with 409 " the request could not be processed because of conflict in the request. The port 4070 seems closed.

same here: Spotify disappeared from the sources this afternoon - could Volumio pls provide some infos?
Spotify works nicely on native app on ipad and iphone though, so Spotify isn’t generally out of service.
