Volumio V 3.874 on RPi, Spotify V 4.30. on a Amazon Fire 8" tablet. Everything was working OK and recently I got a message that Spotify got a new release. I checked updates for the system, had none. I then saw I had an earlier version of spotify and did the ‘upgrade’. I deinstalled the old version, rebooted the tablet and installed the new version, rebooted both the tablet and the RPI and the spotify icon does not show up on the mail volumio screen. I check the Plugins directory and it shows the Spotify plugin is installed. That is the only plugin installed.
So, any suggestions on how to fix this? What has changed?
