I installed Spotify 1.3.5 and then realized that, according to the instructions I followed, should have been Volumio Spotify Connect 2.
So I deinstalled Spotify 1.3.5 and then installed Spotify Connect2.
I did that but I do not see a spotify icon in the home browser window.
I could not figure out how to login to the spotify account from the Connect2 plugin.
Can someone shed some light on what I did wrong and how to correctly install spotify?

Spotify connect does not provide new menu in browse page. It allows to you the official app from your smartphone or computer to connect to your volumio device and play on it.

I think I understand what you are saying…but I don’t know how to use the two applications together. Somehow there has to be a connection between the two apps to allow volumio to use the audio stream from spotify…Do I have to have the spotify app installed on the same device that I am using to connect to voluimo on the Pi?
