Hi all! I’m using Volumio 3 with the most up to date Spotify plugin but am getting gaps between songs no matter what settings. I don’t have any gaps when playing local files. Anyone else encountered this and have tips? Thanks!
Yes, I have that. I don’t think many Volumio people listen to DJ mixes so it’s not a deal breaker for most.
The Spotify plugin has been rebuilt from scratch recently and gapless is not yet working in the latest version (4.0.5). You can see developments unfold in this thread: New 2023 Spotify Plugin
We are working on getting gapless working. No ETA but it’s currently being worked on.

Yes, when it will be fixed you can just updat the plugin.
Just realized I had a typo in my previous comment. I was asking about an ETA for this fix. Been dealing with this for quite a bit now which is frustrating because Spotify is my main source of listening to music and the gaps really take me out of the experience. Thanks!
Any update in gapless Spotify playback? I am listen to J.S.Bach Weihnachtsoratorium and missing this feature (spotify plugin 4.1.1, volumio 3.779.
