Hello I have everything working fine but every now and again I have no SPDIF output. Can someone help
Which version of Volumio are you using? Please don’t just say “the latest.”
Keep in mind we can’t remember every user’s hardware setup, clear information makes life much easier for us.
The system version is 3.874 on a raspberry pi 4 b 2GB. I had issues before with power which was resolved on this post
but this is intermitend sometimes it plays pefectly other times it works perfectly but with no output from SPDIF
Don’t want to kick in open doors, but if this Chinese stuff is causing issues every time, you might consider get the real HifiBerry?
To be fair it is a quality knock off when it works. I doubt many would tell the difference, apart from the price. I have rebooted numerous times and checked different Hifiberry DACs the one it sometimes work with is Hifiberry Digi, but I saved that config and restarted but no joy.
I think its a Software issue as the DAC although Chinese does work is there anything I could try? I turned the device on this morning and listened without issue. I power down come back this evening, power on and it just wont output audio. Please Help!
