I have an HDD connect via USB on my Volumio Primo.
There are two ways to get the library up-to-date:
1 - Update Library: I believe it updates the changes since last scan and the number of artists and albuns, for instance, change according to the changes.
2 - Rescan library: it completely rescans the library. It used to reset the number of artists and albuns to zero and they would increase during the rescan process.
Since a while (I believe since last update), the RESCAN does nothing of that sort. Either it does nothing or is equal to the update button.
Anyone has noticed that?!
I have same strange behaviour on duplicate tracks on some album (just library issues) and I would want to perform a FULL RESCAN.
Later I can share a LOG, but, meanwhile, I just wanted to check if anyone has noticed that and how it solved the issue.
