Sound cutting in and out on Tab E

I started using Volumio only a week ago and I’m using a basic RPi 3 B+ without a DAC, (my HiFiberry will be here in a few days) and I also have a 2nd RPi as the controller, both are wireless and work really good together, and I love Volumio!! However, and this is the problem, I bought a new Galaxy Tab E to run Volumio because the home screen looks absolutely beautiful but its not at all stable in the least. What happens is the sound cuts in and out and then I’ll look at the screen and it’s “searching” and acts as though there is a weak WiFi signal. My router is within 5ft of everything so that shouldn’t be a problem, and as far as I know, I cant hook it up to the Ethernet either.

I hope you can help me with this because I would really like to use the Tablet rather than a 2nd RPi since I already bought the Tab just for this purpose.

Well after some more digging into this matter, the good news is that my problem has nothing to do with Volumio, but the bad news is that its the Tablet itself, and this apparently has been an on-going issue with the Galaxy Tab E for quite some time now and there is no fix either. However, all hope is not lost, I’ll just go back to using the RPi since its stable and then look into a small 10" display screen rather than using the Tablet.
