[Solved] playlist not saved

I am using volumio1.4 on a Cubox-i4.
I have updated to get wifi working and updated the web GUI to be able to connect NAS.

When saving playlists they do not seem to be saved in the MPD playlists directory.

Any solution anyone?

There is a workaround for this: you can create m3u playlists using winamp or similar and editing the path appropriately, if the files are held in more than one directory on the attached drive or you have created the playlist in one folder and moved the music files to another.

If you have a synology NAS you can use the audio player app to remote play through volumio and and create play lists on the fly. Tho this seems to compromise sound quality as the audio player will attempt some processing of it’s own.

Once the m3u playlist is visible to volumio you can add or add and replace and it will play with no problems.

Same problem here. You just have to change permissions of the location where playlists are saved by user mpd:

 sudo chmod +w /var/lib/mpd/playlists/

My Playlists are not saved.
For information, the playlists have been restored by the backup/restore pluggin from a backup made with the same pluggin.

The playlists can be found under

/data/playlist

They all have the last boot-up datetime for date creation excepted the new ones created after retore

Other folders names ‘playlists’ are empty.

/var/lib/mpd/playlists /static/var/lib/mpd/playlists

I first tried to add +w write perms for all on each folders and files with no effect : playlists can be edited but are not saved :
no update applied after next boot.

I can save playlists, but cannot play any of those, tried new and old existing ones. If I select Queue and save it as Playlist and if I clear the Queue and try to play some of the playlist, nothing happens, it won’t add any of the songs to Queue to play those all.
