[Solved] LMS Plugin don't work (Package damaged?)

Hi, I’m fiddling around with the LMS installation.
Starting the installation it ends with no errors and successful installation, but opening port 9000 giving access denied.
In system log I found an error.

● dhcpcd.service - LSB: IPv4 DHCP client with IPv4LL support
   Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/dhcpcd)
   Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2018-12-25 11:13:17 UTC; 13min ago
  Process: 584 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/dhcpcd start (code=exited, status=6)

Dec 25 11:13:16 volumio dhcpcd[584]: Not running dhcpcd because there is aleady an interface specific instance ... failed!
Dec 25 11:13:16 volumio dhcpcd[584]: /var/run/dhcpcd-eth0.pid ... failed!
Dec 25 11:13:17 volumio systemd[1]: dhcpcd.service: control process exited, code=exited status=6
Dec 25 11:13:17 volumio systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: IPv4 DHCP client with IPv4LL support.
Dec 25 11:13:17 volumio systemd[1]: Unit dhcpcd.service entered failed state.

It was fixed by removing the LAN in Network Configuration

The server is not available in the task list

After a couple install and remove, I found this

Can I Do it manually, like this?

sudo dpkg -i logitechmediaserver_all.deb

I found out that the download link in the script was ok, but starting the script in volumio by pushing the button was giving always an empty archive, as above.
I have done another of, I don’t know how much, factory reset and new Images and found this posting …

Follow these commands:

  1. Download the new script
wget -O install-lms.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Saiyato/volumio-lms-plugin/master/install.sh
  1. Execute the script (fill in the passwd when prompted)
sudo sh install-lms.sh force

but that didn’t work too … :neutral_face:

My next try was to push the button inside volumio, because it was a clean install … there was an error message but after reboot LMS was running :smiley:
