I’m having a problem with the operation or settings of a 2.42-inch OLED display - 128×64 SSD1309 Driver Chip
connected to an RPI5 via GPIO.
The display is always dark/off.
The RPI5 is running Volume 4.119.
I installed and activated the MPD OLED 2.1.3 plugin.
I followed the wiring diagram attached in the plugin,
connecting the 7 electrical wires to the corresponding Raspberry Pi pins.
The SPI option in userconfig is ON.
I used a multimeter to measure the electrical connection between them, the power supplies (correct 3.3Vdc), and any defects in the display assembly (all OK).
Unfortunately, I consider myself poor at software; I’m more experienced with hardware.
I’ve tried various tests, using the Volumio forum and online, but to no avail.
I’m asking for help from anyone who’s had the same problem and solved it.
