RPi0 .. touchscreen experiences please :)

Hi All,

I have a RPi0 with Volumio (i2s DAC ) under the bed, and my wife has become interested in being able to use it too. I have been simply using my mobile to control it, but occasionally the system needs rebooting for whatever reason, and this makes it non-trivial for my better half to use. I think that a touch display might well solve this problem, but I have no experience of the units available. Would people be so kind to point me in the right direction? I am aware that the RPi0 doesn’t have a dsi port, and my use of the i2s dac is covering the gpio pins. Looking forward to your replies,

I tried the RPi touchscreens when building some players for my kids. The touch screen was very laggy and slow. They sucked! I returned them, and I bought them Samsung tablets, for about the same price as the Pi screens.
