Any chance Roonbridge could be integrated as a plugin? I want to use my soekris dam1021 with RPi3 connected by i2s and Roon, Volumio is the best distro I’ve used for the Pi and it has drivers for the soekris.
I managed to install Roon on a Volumio image and it worked fine. The problem was Volumio wouldn’t do updates from then on because it recognised my system had been tampered with!
It’s disappointing because Volumio distribute an OEM version to Pro-Ject that is Roon-ready so the technology is there - just not for DiYers.
If Volumio were to release this it wouldmake their solution a giant killer!
