Hello Friends - can you recommend a remote control that I can use with Volumio, I need play/pause, previous & next track and ideally power down, does anyone know if this hi-fi berry product will do the job? Wireless Remote Control – HiFiBerry

i can confirm this one is working and is a good choice because RF remote controls do not need to see the device like IR based need to

Have a look at the triggerhappy threads - you can do nearly everything including shell commands - you’ll need that for shutdown

there are other ones with more buttons if you also want to switch radio stations and much more

Thank-you for your reply. I’ve paired a WIIM bluetooth remote using the Bluetooth _Remote plugin, I can see that the Wiim remote is connected but it offers no form of control.

Personally I have no experience with Bluetooth remotes.
