With 1TB on FLAC, I would always advise a minimum of 2GB, 4GB will run smoother. The prices for a rPi4 2GB or rPi5/2GB are identical and for 4GB the difference is 7 Euro. Keep in mind that for a rPi5, you need a proper Power supply and the USB max current is more strict.
